Pretty Nice Little Saturday

"Well, um, actually a pretty nice little Saturday, we're going to go to Home Depot. Yeah, buy some wallpaper, maybe get some flooring, stuff like that. Maybe Bed, Bath, & Beyond, I don't know, I don't know if we'll have enough time."
I don't say enough nice things about Hubby. In the past I may have complained about marrying someone with AD/HD and I may have whined about not being able to sit still on the weekends. Today, was pretty nice though.

The two furry members of the McGillicutty household were doing things like this:

I can't help it. I think his tongue is cute.

My house isn't this dusty. See below.

I was doing things like this:

and the third McGillicutty was doing things like this:

New tile. Even though I may have whined a bit about the dust, I'm really excited about a new floor. Hubby really is the greatest guy around.

I'm off to dinner (out, because there's no where to cook. DARN!) and Home Depot.

Darcy vs. Cleaver

The blue baby sweater is done. I started a white one. Emily's sweater is very near completion. I started the secret gift for Chrisie on Friday night and finished it Sunday. It only needs a few finishing details. If this week slows down a bit, some people may get some cool stuff in the mail soon.

No knitting pics today, but instead....

I went to the Red Sox game last night. Best seats ever. We had a great time. Hubby and I had Fenway Franks, peanuts and beer. Perfect. The Sox beat the Tigers 7-1.

Somewhere in the 4th inning, a lovely song started to play. "I believe in a thing called love" by The Darkness. This song reminds me a two things: 1) When we moved into our house, our neighbor's kid was about 14 and obsessed with this song. As we worked weekends on the house before we moved in, it would be blaring from their house. Good times. 2) The Mark Darcy/Daniel Cleaver fight of Bridget Jones: The End of Reason.

It was reason #2 that had me giggling at the game, recalling this most pathetic of fights.

The video is quality in this, but the sound... well you'll just have to crank it.
