2008

Not a bad year for the knits.

I've definitely knit more than shown here, but sometimes I forget to take pics. 2008 was a little busy for my taste. Lots of big events. Lots of traveling. Lots of running around.

I hope 2009 brings a little more peace, a little more time at home and a lot of good knits.

New sweater

I'm on day 3 of this sweater and making excellent progress. I would be on day 4, but I lost a bout with food poisoning and I'd rather not talk about that. I'm still not at 100%, but my knitting is on fire!

Cherry Mismas

All in all it was a pretty good holiday.

One of my brother-in-laws gave me a knitting book:


He also accompanied the gift by saying "Selbuvotter!!!" in a scary, gravelly voice about 20 times.

Hubby gave me two cherished pieces of glassware, which I promptly filled with necessities.
