Sweater Slog

It's too big for the train, so it's my tv watching knitting. Thank God it's football season.
This thing might actually get done.

Monday, September 10

First, I don't think I like this school thing. It's seriously eating into my knitting and blogging time. I knit once since my last post and that was on a plane:

This whole making room for school thing is gonna kick me where it hurts - right in the wool!

Where to start...

I got my textbooks Friday, after I left for the weekend, after they told me they had cancelled my order, after I had Hubby drive me to Kenmore Square at 8:00pm on Tuesday night to buy my books. Yeah. Awesome. I hate a certain particular University's bookstore.

To beat all, it arrived ripped open, spewing recycled lint crap everywhere:

and whenever the rip happened, the shrink wrap was damaged too:

Awesome.
Did I mention today is the deadline to return unopened, shrink wrap intact books?
Awesome.

For some not-so-sucky news, I finally got the dishragtag box. Phew!

Lynne set me up with an awesome dishrag and some seriously cool colors of Sugar n Cream. She also sent me this:

Lynne pretty much rocks. The dish cloth soo matches my kitchen and the bowl totally suits my mood right now. Fall has arrived in New England. It's wet and cold. Hubby was going on and on last night about how he loves this time of year. Football, baseball, sweaters, leaves. Our fav time of year.

The box is en route to Cindy. I hope it gets there fast. She's been waiting a long time.

I gotta go set my DVR. I think this is premiere week
