SOCK!

My mom is a fantastic knitter! She has turned the heel on her first sock! AWESOME! Let it be known that she did this all on her own and on a magic loop no less.

(I made those stitch markers. That was my first attempt at that too!)

I am an awful knitter

I don't believe that you're awful. Didn't you say you tried to knit LB Homespun? That yarn will make anyone CRAZY! I want to quit when I knit with that!

Yes but I only bought it bc it was pretty... I didn't know it was hard

It was always too tight and I couldn't stitch so I used to throw it across the room.

Have you met my sister? I think you two would be great friends.

Julie and Haddy's sister should get together and go bowling!
LB Homespun takes some patience. Crocheting with it is the pits.

I wove with that stuff once and it was the first (and only) time I found it easy to work with. Crocheting with it takes patience. I'm not even going to bother trying to knit it. But it really is great for that cheap, yet handmade gift. You know to the person who's just gonna throw it in the washer anyway :)

E:"Haddy, will you teach me to knit?"

haddy:".....uh, no"

E:"please, i promise that if i get frustrated i'll just quit."

haddy:"what else it new?!"
