excuse the camera phone againJust as I was about to leave with...nothing... the blue yarn caught my eye. It's almost Tiffany blue, which was a topic of yarn conversation late last week in the office. I think I'll make a scarf and hat pour moi.
I bought a crochet hook, cuz I only have one and it's an H or something kinda big. I need a smaller one for when I make mistakes (cuz you know I do. I'm becoming a professional mistaker - if that exists.) with smaller yarn. Then I saw those locking stitch markers that Chris raves about. Yeah... I'm gonna need those too. Then, lo! At the register. Cheap, retractable measuring tapes. I've been looking everywhere for you!
So there you have it. My lunch break. In all its splendor.

Those tape measures are toys at our house :) don't let my kids see them :)
I bought a pack of stitch markers like those but bigger at Hobby Lobby last week (marked price is a dollar cheaper than all the yarn stores and I had a 40% off coupon!) They are so cool! They are so cool that they have their own little pocket in my new yarn bag!
