If anyone out there has developed a strategy for opening a box of Caramel DeLitesand NOT eating the entire box, please do tell.
I only bought 2 boxes, so I'll only have to suffer a little longer.
ps - It seems that this year I am playing the role of the dispeller of GS cookies myths. There were several theories about why these cookies were no longer called "Samoas" flying around my office. I had to do some schooling and let people know that both C-DeLites and Samoas are correct.

speaking of mom mcgillicutty...she's had it up to here with "Dah-VON"..he ordered cookies from a lady at work...Cafe's to be exact...not only did he not order from her...BUT from another cookie company. she's pretty much heart broken.

Cafe's? Really? They don't even look good. I'm always wary of the "experimental" cookies. I stick with the classics.

Oh, oh, I have an idear (in response to your lead question)! You can send the boxes to the troops overseas. Google Texas Girl Scout Council or something. I could link it here, but your blog might think I'm trying to spam you with plugs for porn sites.
My Brownies sold 3000 boxes of cookies. That netted us about $1600. Boy, are we gonna have a terrific year. Our "experimental" cookie this year was a "Lemonade", type of shortbread with lemon frosting on the bottom. Good!! Lots of return sales on those. In answer to your question about eating the whole box...you are supposed to eat the whole thing. The packaging is made to tear and be un-closeable. It's just the way of things. You don't question it. You just accept it. Glad you bought ABC Girl Scout Cookies!!!

Thought I'd add that my caring family didn't share a single one with me. Brewer and his "I get headaches from chocolate" didn't have a problem forcing them down ;) Damn caramel delights!
