Hubby took me to Provincetown. He told me a couple weeks ago to keep this weekend free. He told me we were going to celebrate my birthday. He didn't tell me where we were going or what was on the agenda. I found out Thursday and he did well!
We took the fast ferry from Boston Harbor at 9am. It was a gloomy morning with zero visibility. No good views at all. We were soon greeted by scenes like these:

I must say, the photojournalist died in me at this point. The camera was lodged in my bag for a whole 24 hours before seeing daylight again. Hubby and I shopped, ate and most importantly slept. I was a little behind on sleep. I took a nap. The greatest of all birthday gifts. I never nap, but when it's needed it's a blessing.
On Sunday, we had a breakfast that will go down as my favorite breakfast ever. EVA! Then we climbed to the top of the Pilgrim Monument:

I love p-town. That's the first "vacation place" that my husband and I ever went (back when he was but a mere boyfriend...)
