• I took Friday off in hopes of sitting in my yard and maybe catching a Harry Potter matinee. No luck. Apparently I've been thwarted by my sinuses again. I spent three whole days this weekend on the couch.
• For my three days on the couch, I have these to show:

One whole sock and pretty much 2/3 of the mate.

I snapped these pics in the kitchen this morning with
the door open allowing for the only natural light I could find.

• I'm halfway through my re-read of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. There's nothing better than being in the middle of a HP book: totally engrossed, knowing there's plenty of pages left.

Currently:

1. annoyed by people who don't understand Starbucks protocol especially during rush hour.
2. perplexed by sinuses and wonder what life would be like without them.
3. regretting not taking the entire bloody month of July off. Everyone else did.
4. loathing my farmer tan and inability to lose it.
5. embarrassed by the amount of tv consumed while on the couch knitting this weekend. I watched Xanadu by choice. eek.
6. pondering all things Scott Baio. Don't judge. I caught you watching Dog the Bounty Hunter!!
