Roxie and I had a photo shoot today.
She's been doing so well lately. She's becoming more and more affectionate, but this is the look I get most often: We've also progressed into the infamous shadow stage in greyhound post-track development. This is about how close she is to me at all times:

Hubby is so excited about this sweater. All he knows is that it's gray and that's all that matters to him. He was genuinely excited about yarn. He's a keeper, for sure.
I've just a few more rows and the Cobblestone sleeves will be done. Before I start the body, I think I might reward myself by casting on for Composed Mitts. I've got all my yarn:
Have a lovely Saturday.

No pictures again. What's up with that? Haddy's Mom
Roxie is beautiful!
You're so lucky that your husband is excited about you knitting him a sweater. My husband always says sweaters are too warm.

I'm down with the sweater-starting. I'm so done with socks for a bit that I started a sweater for the girls. It's gonna have handspun in the yoke and cascade 220 will make up the rest. I cast on about 1 today and already have about 5 inches done (gotta love kid sweaters :) ) Good luck with your sweaters! and tell Roxie she's gorgeous for me, k?
Thanks for the pictures. I'm never sure that it's not my elderly computer. Roxie is elegant. I bet she's beautiful running. I saw a bumper sticker last week that said "My greyhound is smarter than your honor student!" Could be true. I am so envious of your knitting since I can't even hold a knitting needle. Maybe shoulder will be better soon. Haddy's Mom
Roxie is a rescue, I take it? And a fairly recent one, I'm guessing. She's very pretty. :-)
I like those Composed Mitts too! Very bright and cheery.
