It may not be obvious in the pic above, but Hubby and I have an issue. Dinner forks. Where the fork do they go? We've got more than enough knives, spoons and salad forks. On Sunday I stood in the kitchen completely stupefied. Empty dishwasher. Not a dirty dish in the house. All silverware where it should be and yet, only 5 dinner forks. 5!

maybe they are out partying it up with my friggin spoons!!!! I did the same thing yesterday (honestly and seriously, i counted yesterday!) and realized that we only have 5, too. Mine came from IKEA and I am thinking I will have to get some more, but they only came as the set and I don't need more of anything else. Damn spoons!!!!
Yes, I have an issue with teaspoons. Luckily I started off with 16, so even with only 12 left there are usually enough (unless it is a multi-person multi-tea sort of day)
Hey I think they might be with my spoons. We are down to just a few now, although I did find two when painting son's (who will not be named but is at UNH)room. Maybe I should check out the other bedroom!
I with the others - I lose my spoons - I just bought new silverware and purchased an extra set of matching spoons because I know I will lose them!!!
Maybe somebody uses them to dig up worms for fishing?
And tell Weaver I know where her spoons might go ... with all those kids, I think she better look under the beds or in the backyard, LOL. That's where my Mom found her's. Of course it could be worse ... my daughter caught her kids scraping their dish (with silverware on them)into the trash so they wouldn't have to wash 'em. Yowie.
