I feel pretty strongly about Question 3: The Greyhound Protection Act. It's a proposition to end greyhound racing in Mass by 2010. Hubby and I signed the petition to get this question on the ballot. If you don't know much about the racing industry, please watch this video:

In my opinion, this video isn't really propagandized. I have directly seen the results of the injuries and abuse. Our Griffin died of complications from a track related injury, Django has whip scars and Roxie is missing a large piece of her right nostril.
Abusing dogs isn't entertainment for me and I don't think it should be for anyone else either.
Our commonwealth is better than that.
Please join me in voting YES on question 3.

From what I know about the GHound racing industry, there is much denial about the treatment of the dogs, too, right? And it's a sad scene...people should gamble on slot machines, and crap tables, not on sweetfaced pooches.
