Anyone else feel like this is a hardwood floor blog? Maybe it's just me.
The finished farrow rib scarf for Ms. Julie and my Calorimetry:
Check out this button:
Yes. It's from Windsor. I love it!
I never showed you a final pic of the fishtail lace scarf:
I have to admit that I'm just not happy with this. Lace scarves... I've learned a lot. I think I knit this three times. I finally knit it from both directions and seamed it in the middle... well almost middle. The seam is not in the center which makes me mad. Then after I blocked the darn thing i realized that I did not graft the stitches right. I had purl bumps on the right side. I fixed it today. I'm done with it. Ugh. It's pretty and only I know it's flaws, but I'm ready to ship it off to someone. Someone who can love it. I can't look at it anymore.
Anyhow... I've been really sick again. Not much knitting going on. I'm considering starting another pair of socks. It seemed to help last time.
Going to the great white North this weekend to celebrate Hubby turning 30. If you need me, I'll be sitting next to a very large fire place that his grandfather made with yarn in my hands.

Just so you know....I love lace scarves. Thought I'd mention that. Haddy's Mom
How tiny is that yarn? did the "blunt" addi's give you any issues? I tried to play with the alpaca silk yesterday, and the needles just kept pushing the yarn away instead of picking up the stitches. UGH! I think I might purchase a knit picks circular needle (a needle, not the whole set or so I keep telling myself) and see how they feel.
"...only I know its flaws." I bet the great artists of the world have said the same thing. But we don't care. We just like to ogle and put your masterpieces in museums and sell them off for millions.
Happy Burfday, Mark. Happy Knitting, Haddy.
Any chance I could get some red yarn for an indicator? I want to catch one the size of a football.
