At long last...

I replaced the camera battery charger and we have achieved full power. "I'm given 'er all she's got captain!" Sorry about that... So here's everything I've been waiting to show you.

another ballband

I found this one laying around this weekend. Only a few more rows and it's done. Ballbands are so much fun. I sent my sister home with one this weekend. She was pretty geeked. If dishcloths can do that, then they must be pretty cool.

Hubby's Socks

This is still sock #1. I'm not sure this photo brings out the true colors of this not so attractive sock. I'm still not happy with that and I won't buy this yarn again, fo sho.

The sweater

I think I'm halfway done with the body of the sweater. I wish EmDog were still here. It's really hard to make a sweater fit someone if they aren't nearby to try it on every couple rows. :) It'll be close and that's the best we can hope for. And oh yeah... in this pic it's about the same size as it was before I frogged it. :(

Pouch pocket - to hold EmDog's secret stash!

All that stockinette was boring me. I decided to take out my needles and work the pocket. I whipped this out today on the train. Sweet!

Buttons by POPS!

Saved the best for last. I got a package from my dad. He asked me a long time ago for button specs. I had forgotten all about it. I was surprised in the mail Wednesday with this. How cool! I think he used Osage Orange, which is his typical material of choice. I believe it's three sets of four and in varying diameters. Very cool. I'm gonna take the tape off soon, so it doesn't leave that sticky gunk, and put them in a safe place. Someday I'll make something worthy.
